celtic love knots





This is a very special knot in the shape of a heart. One heart joins another to form an eternal unbroken circle of love knots. There is no beginning and no end and is a tribute to the Romance of the Celtic people. Solid 14kt.

This is a digital photograph of one of the first rings. It is not retouched so let me explain what you are seeing. The ring is actually made up of three rings. The center ring and two outer rings. If you look very close and have a good monitor, you can see the seam. This is blown up to show what a jeweler's loupe sees. The yellow outer bands are highly polished. So much so, that they are reflecting the center band's textured matte finish with raised polished love knots. The inside of the band appears to be as one, as well. You would have to look very close to detect a seam inside. Sometimes you can, most times you cannot.

The rings are made to order. They cannot be resized. If you try to stretch them, the three bands will separate. If you cut them, the pattern is broken. So please be precise! Ireland will not accept a ring return for sizing.

The rings are 5.5mm wide and about 1.2mm thick. A standard ring sizer is fine.
