teak ships wheel necklace pendant
These are each hand made one at a time. While similar, no two will be exactly alike. The grain and coloring of the teak will have different characteristics. I have taken several pictures at different angles to enable you to virtually hold it in your hand.
Each wheel is 29mm or 1 1/8" from the tip of one spoke to the end tip of the opposing one. The bail adds another 8mm or just over a 1/4". As you can see, the teak is hand carved to fit. In the center hub is a bezel set .10ct diamond surrounded by eight .01ct diamonds. From a distance it looks like a one massive diamond!
The teak is stained and then varnished with three more coats. This is a special occasion piece and the varnish will not stand up to 24/7 exposure wear to the elements, showers, sauna, etc.
These are individually made by hand one at a time and take several weeks when not in stock as the drying time between coats is important.
