Turks head designs can be traced back to Celtics of the 12th century and drawings of Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th Century. The oldest found heraldry is the carrick bend badge of the Wake family in 1066 AD. It was a four bight single strand, single line. Scotland is the only country that still uses heraldry. Turks head knots take many shapes and forms, from a flat braid to intricately woven knots to puzzles, in rings, bracelets and necklaces. While long associated with nautical lovers and sailors, it truly has a Celtic and Nordic history. We offer both designs in the woven/braided cable and intricately woven/braided wire. With Turks Head rings there is no beginning or end. When you see 9 double strands, remember, it starts out as a single strand and is woven to give the look of multi-strands. If you unravel a ring you will have a very long wire!

on the inside of the ring so the diamond is touching your skin
and does not show. This is old stock from another company that

a triple strand braid that does not have rails or edges as there
is an inside band that conforms to the shape of the braid. The
